Jennifer King is the Founder and Artistic Director of Napa Valley Conservatory Theater and Shakespeare Napa Valley. Her teaching and directing credits include work for the California Shakespeare Theater (Associate Artist), Dallas Theater Center, Aurora Theatre Company, Playground, Berkeley Playhouse, Sonoma County Repertory Theater, 6th Street Playhouse, The White Barn, the Dallas Institute of Humanities and Culture, Napa Valley College (Professor of Theater), Richland, Foothill and Solano Colleges, as well as the University of California, Davis. Regional directing includes: The Laramie Project: 10 Years Later, Twelfth Night, Sweeney Todd, The People's Temple, 'ART’, Cyrano, I Am My Own Wife, Man of La Mancha, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Disney's Aladdin (nominated for six Bay Area Theater Critics Circle Awards, including Best Director), The Taming of the Shrew, La Cage aux Folles, and Tuesdays with Morrie, among others. She is a co-editor of Reflections of Diversity, a recipient of a TCG Observer-ship Award, and holds an MFA in Acting from UC Davis and a BA in Theater from University of Southern California.
