Sheri Lee Miller comes to Napa Valley College from Cinnabar Theater where she was the Director of Marketing and Education. Before that, she spent seven years at Actors Theatre of Sonoma County as the Director of PR/Marketing and Associate Artistic Director.
Sheri holds a B.A. in Drama from San Diego State University with double emphases in acting and directing. She has performed and directed at some of the leading theaters on the West Coast including, among others: Seattle Repertory Theatre, A Contemporary Theater, Tacoma Actors Guild, The Gaslamp Quarter Theater, Seattle Children’s Theater, Centerstage, Actors Theater, Cinnabar Theater and Sonoma County Repertory Theater.
She has directed, among other plays, How I Learned to Drive, Arcadia, Escanaba in Da Moonlight, Communicating Doors, The Bachelors, Company, The Turn of the Screw, Stones in His Pockets, Over the River and Through the Woods, Boston Marriage, Death of a Salesman (starring Daniel Benzali), Leading Ladies, Almost Maine, Tartuffe, Crimes of the Heart, Born Yesterday,and the world premieres of Renaissance, The Tailor of Gloucester, Alice! and Pinky (which is being reprised at 6th Street Playhouse in July of 2012.) She will be seen as Eleanor of Acquitaine in The Lion In Winter in the summer of 2012 at Spreckels Performing Arts Center. In October Sheri is directing The Weir at Main Stage West in Sebastopol, then in December A Couple of Blaguards at Cinnabar. She has appeared in dozens of t.v. commercials, voice-overs, industrial films and print. Sheri is a member of Actors Equity Association and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists.
