ACT OUT THIS SUMMER!

Students aged 13-18: Hone acting, movement and voice skills while creating a play to be performed on the new Performing Arts Center Main Stage at Napa Valley College. Young Actors Conservatory Summer Stage
will stretch your abilities and talents in an environment that fosters experimentation and artistic risk-taking.

July 11-21, performance July 21 at 1:00pm
Class meets from 10:00am-3:00pm Monday-Thursday

Fee: $200 plus a $25 materials fee

About the Instructor: Dan Saski is a professional actor and renowned teaching artist who will star as Claudio in this summer’s Shakespeare Napa Valley production of Much Ado About Nothing.

  • Student Matinee Performances annually reach more than 1,000 students and teachers through weekday performances of Napa Valley College Theater for Young Audiences productions. While tickets are regularly $10-$20 each, students and teachers pay only $5 to attend.
  • Creative Adventures are fun and interactive field trips. Students along with their teachers and parents journey into the wonderful world of theater and music through a guided tour and workshop at the new Napa Valley College Performing Arts Center.
  • NVC on Tour has reached over 5000 students by bringing forty five minute productions to elementary, middle and high schools. Past elementary school productions have included The Emperors New Clothes, Magic Theater, Wolf Child: The Correction of Joseph, Flights of Fancy and Disney's Aladdin. In 2003, Napa Valley College began touring productions (Dead Man Walking and Bang. Bang, You’re Dead) to high schools.
  • School Partnerships have provided thousands of young people with the opportunity to perform in music and drama presentations at Napa Valley College.
  • Young Actors Conservatory offers after-school classes and summer theater day camps which focus on developing the imagination, communication skills, collaborative problem-solving, and performance techniques.
